A new study from the personal injury firm “Suzuki Law Offices” says Indiana has the 8th highest number of emergency room visits in the U.S.
The study analyzed data from the Healthcare Cost & Utilization Project provided by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality regarding annual visits to the E.R. in each U.S. state.
The visits from 2016 to 2020 were averaged and compared to the population to discover the average yearly number of visits per 10,000 individuals.
