Man leads police on pursuit in stolen vehicle

A man has has been arrested after leading police in LaPorte County on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle all the way to the Illinois state line.
The stolen vehicle was spotted, on Tuesday, March 26, via a Flock Safety Camea traveling east on U.S. 20 from U.S. 35.
The vehicle entered Hunters Run subdivision where a traffic stop was initiated. However, the driver too off, prompting the pursuit on to U.S. 20, U.S> 35, and C.R. 525 and C.R> 400.
The chase continued west onto the Chicago Skyway Bridge Toll Plaza, where the driver, 43-year-old James Simcoe, of Norridge, Illinois, was finally apprehended.
