If you’ve participated in the Affordable Connectivity Program, you may need to listen up.

The program, which provides a discount of up to $30 per month on home internet service, is ending by the end of April.

The City of South Bend is working with ACP navigators to help users through the transition.

Over 22 million households have received the ACP benefit, with over 12,100 of those households being in South Bend.

The federal government has been taking steps to wind down the ACP as the allotted funding is projected to run out by the end of the month.

Those receiving ACP benefits can cancel or change internet plans without paying additional fees, and they may be eligible for other connectivity resources.
