South Bend man charged w/multiple crimes related to 2015 robbery, murder

The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office has charged a South Bend man with five crimes related to a 2015 robbery and murder.

Prosecutors say Ddrea Bostic, 26, shot and killed Guiseppe Bailey, 41, and carjacked his second victim’s car and ran over his legs.

According to court documents, Bailey recognized Bostic, which led to Bostic shooting him in the chest.

Bostic was already in prison when served with the warrant.

Bostic is charged with:

Count I: Murder, a Felony
Count II: Murder, a Felony (Murder in commission of a felony)
Count III: Robbery Resulting in Bodily Injury, Level Three Felony
Count IV: (Attempted) Robbery, Level Three Felony
Count V: Felony Firearm Use Sentencing Enhancement
