Mishawaka begins process of creating Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area

If you’re older than 21, you may soon be able to drink in public in one part of Mishawaka.
The city is in the process of creating a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area.
This means those legally able to drink would be able to within a certain radius in the planned area near the Mishawaka Riverwalk.
The City Council assigned the proposed ordinances to the Public Health and Safety Committee.
Another meeting will take place on June 12.
