North Liberty residents oppose proposed solar farm

(95.3 MNC)
A proposed solar farm is upsetting North Liberty residents, and many say they feel blindsided by the proposal. Affecting farmable land and impacting local wildlife are among the concerns.
If built, that 2500-acre solar farm could be one of the biggest in the state going in just across the street from Potato Creek State Park.
The next public meeting to discuss the farm will be June 18th at the County-City building.
