(95.3 MNC)

A Walkerton police officer walked away without injuries after he crashed his patrol car.

Officer Adam Kraning was called for back-up to help another officer who was in a fight with a suspect during an arrest.

Kraning drove through a curve in the 1200 block of Harrison Street, then lost control of the car, left the road, and hit a power pole.

The St. Joseph County Police Department is investigating all the factors that led to the collision.
