Edwardsburg woman hospitalized after crash at M-60 and Hospital Street

An Edwardsburg woman was taken to the hospital after a crash at M-60 and Hospital Street in Cass County.

The collision happened around 8:50 p.m. on Saturday, July 6.

The 20-year-old woman was traveling westbound and blew through a stop sign at the intersection then lost control of the vehicle, went down an embankment, then came to a rest in a wooded lot, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office

She was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend with minor injuries.

Seatbelts were worn, and drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor, according to the sheriff’s office.
