Indiana Senator and candidate for Governor Mike Braun says former President Donald Trump made a fantastic pick in JD Vance as his runningmate.

“He’s young, vibrant, and he has been there since his time in the senate as a stalwar supporter (of Donald Trump),” said Braun while talking with WIBC’s Tony Katz. He also called Vance one of the smartest people in the Senate.

Braun, a republican, believes that Vance will also be a good pick to gain more votes in state’s that will be important come November. In particular, he thinks Vance will have a big impact in states like Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

“I think it was an excellent pick all around,” claimed Braun. “I think we had several to choose from that would have been very good. I think Trump hit it on the money in the case of JD.

Vance is a republican Senator from Ohio and was previously critical of Trump in 2016. He has since become more supportive of the former President who endorsed Vance in 2022 before he was elected.
