Osceola man suffers diabetes episode, crashes car

An Osceola man who suffered a diabetes issue and blacked out is recovering from injuries after crashing his car.

The collision happened around 9:15 a.m. on Monday, July 29, on Old U.S. 20 near Riverview Manor Drive.

The 71-year-old man drove left of center and off the road until he collided with a power pole.

The man suffered a cut to his forehead and a potential head injury from the crash. He was taken to Elkhart General Hospital for treatment.
