(Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC)
Revenge has been identified as the motive in the Michigan City shooting that killed Travis Pennington, 35, and Kiara Hootman, 22.
Armann Johnson, 26, is charged with their murders. All three had worked at Hearthside Food Solutions, but Johnson and Pennington were recently fired.
WEBT reports Johnson had a brief, abusive relationship with Hootman, leading her to move in with Pennington out of fear.
Johnson allegedly shot them both of them, last week, at Normandy Village Apartments.
Pennington was shot in the head and neck, Hootman in the arm and back. J
ohnson was found via a license plate reader and is being held without bond, with a court hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
