LaPorte woman facing charges after allegedly crashing car while intoxicated, leaving kids at home

A woman in LaPorte is facing charges after being accused of leaving children at home before going out for drinks and then crashing her car.
Ashley Krol, 32, is accused of having a blood alcohol level of .302 percent when found inside her crashed car on Sunday.
Police say they found her children home alone.
Krol is charged with neglect of a dependent and operating while intoxicated.
