Six people detained during Volina Township search warrant

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team worked to detain six individuals during a search warrant on Wednesday.

It happened on Church St. in Volina Township. Detectives were searching the residence where they located meth, meth paraphernalia and stolen property.

They say a 28-year-old female was arrested for outstanding warrants, a 54-year-old was arrested for resisting and obstruction, meth possession and outstanding warrants, and a 27-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing as well as meth possession.

A 30-year-old was also arrested for meth possession, possession of stolen property and outstanding warrants. Names of the suspects have not yet been released, and the investigation is still ongoing.
