A woman was arrested after a search warrant was executed at Rose Spa in Berrien County.

Authorities say the venue, which is advertised as a massage parlor, was suspected of engaging in illicit sexual activity.

Tips from the community helped bring the activity to the attention of the authorities, leading to the investigation that lasted about four months.

A 47-year-old woman from New Buffalo was taken to the Berrien County Jail for felony prostitution, keeping a house of ill fame, soliciting prostitution and disorderly conduct.

The business has now been shut down.
