A man accused of murdering a Goshen woman appeared in court again last week.

Hector Duran Gomez is accused of using a zip tie to kill 45-year-old Alma Bermeo at their home.

Despite a no-contact order, Gomez was reportedly with Bermeo the night before her body was discovered in a locked garage on the property.

According to The Goshen News, police say surveillance cameras had been tampered with, and Gomez reportedly had visible scratch marks on his left forearm when he was arrested.
