Michigan has launched a new website to offer a helping hand to those in the state who struggle with substance abuse.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services introduced the new website recently to allow for more localized access. WSJM reports that tens of thousands of Michiganders sought help for substance and alcohol abuse last year. The site launch coincides with an expansion of eligibility to allow more addiction treatments in Michigan to be covered by Medicaid.
