It happened just before 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 27. South Bend Police were called to the 300 block of East Donmoyer Avenue on the report of a shooting in the parking lot of Monroe Elementary School.
When officers arrived, they were unable to find a victim in the lot but were quickly directed to the area of Fellows Street and Klinger Avenue, where the victim was located.
