There’s news for those who enjoy camping in Michigan State Parks.

Michigan will be bumping up the state park camping feeds on August 1st. Some of those rates will go up by $4-$10 dollars per night, according to Bridge Michigan, who also report that fees for rustic sites will not change.

Overnight cabin stays will range from $60 to $120 per night, and deluxe lodgings will cost $160. Modern lodge prices will increase gradually but be capped at $236 per night.

The DNR says the increases are necessary in response to an increase in the prices of everything required to operate the state park system.
