Driver arrested after short police chase in Goshen

A Goshen man was taken into custody following a brief police pursuit near the intersection of South Main Street and East Washington Street in Goshen.
It happened just after 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1 when police attempted traffic stop and the driver, identified as Arturo Marin, 26, refused to pull over, leading officers on a short chase.
Marin was eventually stopped and arrested for operating while intoxicated and resisting law enforcement.
A search warrant was obtained for a blood draw, and test results are pending. Marin was booked into the Elkhart County Jail.
