Details released regarding Monday afternoon crash

Details have come to light regardng a crash that shut down U.S. 20 between South Bend and New Carlisle.
The collision happened early Monday afternoon, Feb. 3, and left a Highland, Indiana man with life-threatening injuries.
Police say the man was turning left from Walnut Road onto US-20 and collided with a pickup truck and trailer. He remains in the hospital but is now on the mend.
The other driver, a 65-year-old Walkerton man, suffered just minor injuries.
The St. Joseph County Fatal Crash Team is still investigating factors that led to the crash.
