Three arrested in Cass County drug bust

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team executed a search warrant, uncovering methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and evidence of drug distribution at a residence in the 25000 block of Harris Street.
During the search, on Tuesday, Feb. 4, detectives also discovered a firearm. Three men were taken into custody: a 38-year-old for possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation, another 38-year-old for possession of methamphetamine, and a 54-year-old for possession with intent to distribute, felony firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm. Their names are being withheld pending arraignment in the 4th District Court.
The Michigan Department of Corrections, Cass County Sheriff’s Office, and K-9 Sitka assisted in the operation. The investigation remains ongoing.
