A Kosciusko County traffic stop led to a search warrant being served in Warsaw earlier this week.

Reports say an Indiana State Police trooper stopped a Dodge Ram for moving violations on Feb. 3.

During the stop, the driver, 35-year-old Luis Lara-Macias, was found to be in possession of over $65,000. Troopers continued the investigation, leading to a search warrant at Lara-Macias’ residence in Warsaw.

Troopers found a rifle, two handguns, about 3 ounces of suspected cocaine, a digital scale, fraudulent ID cards, more cash and other paraphernalia.

He was taken to the Kosciusko County Jail on a preliminary charge of Money Laundering.
