The South Bend Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating two girls reported as runaways.

16-year-old Ciara Lukens and 14-year-old Anari Yarbrough have both been reported to our department as runaway juveniles. They were last seen on February 22, 2025, near the area of McKinley Avenue and Hickory Road.

While it’s believed the two girls ran away together, it’s not known whether they are still in each other’s company right now.

Ciara Lukens is described as 5’6”, approximately 240 pounds and has red hair, brown eyes and two piercings on the left side of her nose. She was last seen wearing a black jacket and gray pants. She was also carrying a black backpack and blue shoes.

Anari Yarbrough is described as 5’2”, approximately 130 pounds and has black hair in a braid. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and dark-colored pants. She may be carrying a gray blanket and a blue backpack.

Anybody with information on Ciara Lukens or Anari Yarbrough is asked to contact the South Bend Police Department at 574-235-9201. If calling after hours, dial 9-1-1 instead.
