A civil rights complaint has been filed against I-U South Bend regarding five scholarships the university offers under the DEI Scholarships page.

The suit states the scholarships violate Title VI and the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment by discriminating on the basis of race, color, and/or national origin.
