Kids in four Northern Indiana counties struggle to access mental health services due to their distance from city resources.
Dr. Erica Kelsey, who leads emotional wellbeing services in Saint Joseph County, says staff in White, Cass, Pulaski, and Fulton Counties will receive training to manage mental health crises.
The Club also provides therapy appointments and free autism screenings, which can be expensive through other providers. Dr. Kelsey adds that the program will also serve as a practicum site for Doctoral students in the Purdue Psychology program.
