Mother, three children found safe after disappearance from Michigan

A mother and her three children who vanished under suspicious circumstances earlier this week have been found safe, authorities confirmed late Saturday.

According to police, 50-year-old Michelle Olszewski and her children disappeared from Ottawa County, Michigan, after she picked them up from school on April 30 and failed to return. The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office described the situation as suspicious and began a multi-state search.

The Mishawaka Police Department joined the investigation after Olszewski’s rental vehicle and personal belongings were discovered at a hotel in Indiana.

On Saturday afternoon, police located Olszewski and one of her children, identified as Cash, in good condition. Hours later, the two remaining children were found safe, also in St. Louis.
