University of Notre Dame celebrates Pope Leo XIV

The University of Notre Dame’s Basilica of the Sacred Heart celebrated a special Mass of Thanksgiving Thursday evening to offer prayers for the newly elected Pope Leo XIV.

Rev. Robert A. Dowd, Notre Dame’s President, said Notre Dame celebrates the new Pope’s work “as a tireless missionary who has never hesitated to cross borders to announce the Gospel.”

Pope Leo is the former leader of the Order of St. Augustine, an order dedicated to poverty and service. He’s the 7th Augustinian pope, and has called for the need for Catholics to be missionaries in this world and build bridges with more dialogue and benevolence.

Those who have been paying attention know that Leo is even farther left than Red Frank was. Ole Francis stacked the church leadership with leftists, and now they have elected an extremist Pope.

It’s time to excommunicate the Catholic Church.
