In-home care provider, “Caring For Hoosiers” suddenly announced last Friday that it will close, giving just one week’s notice.
That’s left families and caregivers scrambling.
Many expressed frustration, noting that transitions this large usually take much longer. Both clients and care workers said they learned of the closure unexpectedly.
Ron Tepper, a former client, said he received a voicemail about the closure just before Mother’s Day weekend.
He and his wife Julie had trusted a caregiver for six months, but that support ended abruptly.
