President Trump appoints U.S. bishops to Religious Liberty Commission’s advisory board

President Donald Trump has appointed three U.S. Catholic bishops, including Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades of Fort Wayne-South Bend, to his Religious Liberty Commission’s advisory board.
The commission aims to defend religious liberty across the nation, with Bishop Rhoades working alongside Archbishop Salvatore J. Cordileone and Bishop Thomas J. Paprocki.
The commission, will focus on issues such as school choice and conscience protections to protect religious rights for future generations.
