The medical director of Pet Refuge has resigned.
She claimed the shelter initially approved a cat adoption application for a person with a history of animal abuse.
Dr. Ashley Wyman, the now former medical director of Pet Refuge, says the adoption was ultimately not completed, but due to the shelter’s decision to approve the application for a person with animal abuse history, she chose to resign.
WNDU says she will continue working at ABC Clinic where she will continue providing low-cost spay and neuter services to the community.
