(Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC)

NIPSCO crews have been working to relocate their underground facilities so Reith Riley can begin construction on the new roundabout.

Construction on the roundabout, which will be at Cleveland Road and Beech Road, is expected to begin on June 2.

During the construction, detour routes will be posted, with traffic being re-routed to utilize Bittersweet Road and Ash Road, then to Douglas Road. Truck traffic will be directed to McKinley Highway and will utilize Ash Road and Capital Avenue.

Reith Riley should have the project completed by October 18 when the roundabout will be re-opened to unrestricted traffic.
