The City of South Bend has announced its fifth year of the Build the Budget program.

It’s a way for residents to shape the city and its future.

City staff collects ideas and feedback from residents through an online budget survey, 311 voicemails and interactive budget games at events.

It’s a chance for residents to voice their priorities for the 2026 budget season.
