The Mishawaka Police Department Detective Bureau is investigating a homicide that occurred in the 500 block of East 12th Street.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

One male victim was found at the scene. Authorities have stated that the incident appears to be isolated, but further details were not immediately available.
