One of three men accused of burglarizing an abandoned building in Elkhart had the charges dismissed last week.

Timothy Warren, Timothy Gibson and Samuel Lafollette were accused of the burglary after an AEP worker said she heard banging coming from inside the building.

The building was supposed to be vacant. An officer found Gibson standing in the doorway, and Warren reportedly fled from the building before being apprehended.

The Goshen News says a vehicle registered to Lafollette was found in the building, though he claimed he was not involved in any way.

Lafollette’s case was dismissed, and Warren’s was continued to December 1.
