Police investigating shooting that left one injured

Police are investigating a shooting that left one man injured on the South Bend’s southeast side.
Officers were called to the 400 block of South 26th Street at 12:25 a.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 30, with patrol units spotted at the Cedar Glen Apartment Complex.
Police remained on the scene for less than an hour before removing crime scene tape and clearing the area around 1:15 a.m.
Investigators later learned that a man who had been shot arrived at a South Bend hospital. His injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
