The Indiana Department of Transportation and State Police are reminding drivers to Move Over and Slow Down for vehicles with flashing lights.
This Saturday is National Move Over Day.
Indiana’s law, revised in 2023, requires you to move over for all stationary vehicles with flashing lights, including emergency crews and disabled cars.
If you can’t move over safely, slow down to at least 10 miles per hour below the posted limit to save a life.
