A man was killed when a semi ran a red light and hit his pickup at US-30 and Queen Road in Plymouth.

Police say the semi was heading west, around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and failed to stop at the light, crashing into the southbound pickup driven by Richard Louzon, 77. Hewas flown to South Bend Memorial Hospital, where he later died.

A 20-year-old woman from Walkerton, who was a passenger in the truck, was also airlifted to the hospital. Her condition is unknown.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police are still investigating factors that led to the collision.
