Governor Mike Braun has proclaimed November 9–15 as Winter Weather Preparedness Week in Indiana.

He’s urging Hoosiers to prepare for the hazards of snow, ice and freezing temperatures.

The Indiana Department of Homeland Security and the National Weather Service are teaming up to promote winter safety. IDHS Director Jonathan Whitham says preparation can make all the difference.
