Child molestation suspect arrested on warrant

St. Joseph County Police have arrested A 34-year-old man on Adams Road after serving a warrant for two counts of child molestation.
A probable cause affidavit says a young victim reported in April 2024 that Kubsch touched touched them inapproproately several times and undressed both himself and the child.
When questioned, Joseph Lee Kubsch claimed he had started new medication in 2022 or 2023 and experienced vivid sexual dreams.
He told investigators he woke up naked next to the victim but said he didn’t know if anything actually happened.
The victim later tested positive for chlamydia.
