Indiana House Democrats offer alternative to mid-decade redistricting bill

(95.3 MNC)
Indiana House Democrats, this week, offered an alternative to the mid-decade redistricting bill, focusing instead on immediate cost-of-living relief for Hoosier families.
Their proposal, which was blocked by a 64 to 24 House Republican vote, included eliminating sales tax on utility bills and certain groceries, creating a healthcare tax credit, and fully funding child care vouchers.
