Carmel Christkindlmarkt to adjust hours this weekend

The Carmel Christkindlmarkt will adjust its hours this weekend under a new cold-weather policy.
Officials say the market will close at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, and remain closed Sunday, Dec. 14, because temperatures are expected to fall below 20 degrees.
The policy protects vendors, staff, and guests while preventing equipment issues.
The market plans to reopen Monday, Dec. 15, from 4-9 p.m. Officials apologized for the inconvenience and said they hope the cold snap ends soon so visitors can enjoy the holiday festivities.
