The Food Bank of Northern Indiana is receiving a major boost this holiday season thanks to a partnership between Martin’s Super Markets and Miller Poultry.

More than 12,000 pounds of chicken are being donated to help families facing food insecurity.

Miller Poultry CEO Galen Miller says the company is grateful to support local efforts to combat food scarcity.

Martin’s Super Markets also emphasized its commitment to helping neighbors in need.

The Food Bank says the donation comes at a critical time, as protein remains a luxury for many in the community.
