More than $20,000 in stolen property recovered in Edwardsburg search

More than $20,000 worth of stolen property was recovered after Cass County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at a residence along U.S. 12 in the Village of Edwardsburg.
According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the search took place on Friday, Dec. 12, as investigators followed up on a tip regarding stolen items. Deputies located and recovered property that had been reported stolen from locations in Mason Township and Jefferson Township.
Authorities said all of the recovered property was identified and returned to its rightful owners.
The Ontwa Township Edwardsburg Police Department and the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team assisted the sheriff’s office during the investigation.
