Mishawaka police are investigating the death of a man found shot to death on the city’s north side.
According to the Mishawaka Police Department, officers were notified just after 5:20 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, about a person down in the area of North Logan and West Marion streets. When officers arrived, they discovered the body of 39-year-old Dustin Abraham Sr. in the parking lot of Artistic Hair, located at 1108 North Logan Street.
Police said Abraham was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators indicated the incident appears to be isolated and that there is no immediate threat to the surrounding community.
The investigation remains in its early stages. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mishawaka Police Department Detective Bureau at 574-258-1684. Anonymous tips may also be submitted through Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP (7867).
The following information was released by Mishawaka Police:
On 12-15-2025 the body of Dustin Abraham Sr. (39) was found in the business parking lot at approx. 0545 hrs. Family of Mr. Abraham knew of the death and had alerted the Mishawaka Police Department to the location and identity of the deceased party.
Several individuals have been interviewed in relation to this case and investigators continue to follow up on leads. Evidence in the form of digital recordings and physical evidence has been collected.
The next of kin for Mr. Abraham have been notified.
This is considered an isolated incident and no other threats to the community stem from this case.
