$400 thousand worth of lobster stolen during transportation

A shipment of lobster worth $400,000 destined for Costco stores was stolen by criminals posing as a legitimate carrier, according to the CEO of an Indiana-based logistics company.
The carrier hired to transport the lobsters from Massachusetts to the Midwest disappeared after turning off their GPS monitor and providing a fake identity.
Police suspect the incident may be part of a larger theft ring, with a similar theft of crab reported from the same Massachusetts facility.
