Milford man sentenced for alleged social media threats against President Trump

A Milford man has been sentenced in federal court for posting violent threats against President Trump on social media.
Douglas Thrams pleaded guilty to making interstate threats after posting TikTok videos advocating for the bombing of government buildings and the assassination of politicians.
A judge sentenced the 24-year-old to time served-totaling over ten months-along with two years of supervised release.
The case was a joint investigation by the FBI and the U.S. Secret Service.
