Goshen Police arrest man following domestic disturbance

A domestic battery investigation led to an arrest in Goshen after officers pursued a suspect on foot.
Police were called to the 600 block of North Main Street just before 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 12, for reports of a domestic battery. When officers arrived, a foot pursuit ensued and officers were able to detain the suspect.
According to authorities, 58-year-old Salvador Flores, described as homeless in Goshen, was taken into custody on charges of resisting law enforcement and domestic battery. Police say Flores was transported to the Elkhart County Jail.
Following additional investigation, officers will forward domestic battery charges for review involving a 53-year-old Goshen man and a 19-year-old Goshen man.
