Oliver Davis enters race for Indiana House District 7

Oliver Davis, a longtime South Bend City Council member, is entering the race for Indiana House District 7, which includes the city’s west side and parts of western and southern St. Joseph County.
Davis is on his second term on the City Council and has also run for mayor in the past, though he was not elected. He will challenge Republican Jake Teshka, who currently represents the district.
