South Bend man sentenced to 65 years in prison for death of 11-year-old

The suspect convicted in the shooting death of an 11-year-old in South Bend has been sentenced.
21-year-old Dominick Williams, Jr. was sentenced to 65 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections.
Williams was found guilty of Murder in December for the April 20, 2023, shooting that claimed the life of 11-year-old T’yon Horston in the 600 block of N. Johnson Street.
This case was investigated by the South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit, with Detectives Brett Airy and Nicholas Pogotis as the lead investigators.
