Portage man arrested after hit-and-run in Marshall County

A Portage man is facing multiple charges following a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night in Marshall County.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded around 10:39 p.m. to a report of a two-vehicle crash in which one driver fled the scene.
Authorities later located the suspect vehicle in a McDonald’s parking lot in Walkerton, where 30-year-old Patrick Wright Jr. was found unconscious behind the wheel.
Officials say Wright became belligerent and non-compliant when officers attempted to take him into custody but was ultimately arrested without further incident.
He faces charges including Operating While Intoxicated – Endangering, Operating While Intoxicated with a BAC of .15% or more, resisting law enforcement, and leaving the scene of a property damage crash.
Wright is being held on a $1,505 bond.
